NFHM believes that providing needed affordable housing in local areas is a key component of not only neighborhood revitalization, but it is also as an avenue for reaching out to meet the spiritual needs of our communities. NFHM also serves faith-based ministries by providing training and technical assistance on a variety of areas, including housing production, property and asset management, ministry program planning; urban and architectural design, and organizational support.

Mission Statement:
The National Fellowship of Housing Ministries' mission is to proclaim and demonstrate the Kingdom of God by serving faith-based, not-for-profit groups who are committed to providing quality, community-based, affordable housing to persons in need.

Vision Statement:
Our vision is to establish and support well-equipped, Christ-centered affordable housing ministries around the country by: 1) Nurturing Biblical fellowship and support among faith-based groups who minister to their communities through affordable housing. 2) Equipping and increasing faith-based groups' technical capacity in the area of affordable housing to serve God and their communities. 3) Encouraging and advocating for the critical role of faith groups in housing justice issues to all segments of society.
