The Housing Ministries Group (HMG) is a non-profit ministry of the National Fellowship of Housing Ministires, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to serving families and individuals by creating sustainable, realtionship-rich, residential communities in HMG Neighborhoods . HMG's charitable purpose is the relief of the poor and distressed or of the underprivileged by developing, owning, operating, managing, fostering, and otherwise facilitating the provision of housing, social services, and community development centers for low income and moderate income people. The specifc model developed by HMG for housing and community development is the
HMG Neighborhood , a new form of intentional neighborhood community development whose purpose is to create a space for supportive relationships to assist in lifting individuals out of poverty.
HMG is provides technical assistance to, and partners with, local churches and ministries in establishing
HMG Neighborhoods. Through its real estate development and finance service companies, HMG provides professional technical support in all stages of the development process and operations. HMG's staff is committed to following Christ's example of love and service in all their professional endevours.
